Vegan Teriyaki Wings

Teriyaki wings are the perfect, baked, and flavor-packed appetizer.

Ingredients

  • 30-35 All Vegetarian Drumsticks

  • 1cups soy sauce

  • 2/3 cup water

  • 1 cup brown sugar

  • 2 tablespoons dry mustard

  • 1 tablespoon ground ginger or fresh gingerroot

  • 3 cloves garlic, mined

Directions

  1. Heat oven to 375 degrees. Bake All Vegetarian Drumsticks on a parchment lined baking sheet for 6 minutes. After 6 minutes, turn wings over and bake for an additional 6. Remove from oven when desire crisp is acheived.

  2. To prepare the sauce, bring the remaining ingredients to a boil in a saucepan until sauce thickens to desired consistency.

  3. Pour marinade over wings and place in a 350 degree oven for 25 minutes.

  4. Remove from oven and place on a jelly roll pan. Turn oven up to broil and brown wings until crispy, turning a couple of times.Directions

  5. Defrost your All Vegetarian Wings.

  6. In a bowl, toss ¼ cup of cornstarch and the All Vegetarian Drumsticks together until fully coated.

  7. In a medium bowl, whisk together ½ cup of cornstarch, flour, paprika, garlic powder, baking powder, salt, and pepper. Whisk until smooth.

  8. Heat the oil to 350°F

  9. Coat All Vegetarian Drumsticks in the batter. Add the drumsticks to the oil in batches, cooking for 5-10 minutes until golden brown. Remove from oil and place on wire rack.

  10. Transfer to a new bowl & slowly add in the buffalo sauce. Toss to coat.

  11. Serve with vegan ranch, blue cheese, celery & carrots.
