Classic Buffalo Wings

These classic, plant-based buffalo wings are the quintessential game day appetizer.

Ingredients

  • 25 All Vegetarian Drumsticks

  • ¾ cup cornstarch, divided

  • ¼ cup all-purpose flour

  • 1 teaspoon paprika

  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder

  • 2 teaspoons baking powder

  • 2 teaspoons salt

  • 1 teaspoon black pepper

  • ⅔ cup water

  • Oil for frying

  • ½ cup buffalo sauce

  • Vegan ranch or blue cheese dip

  • 1 stalk celery sticks

  • 2 sliced carrots

Directions

  1. Defrost your All Vegetarian Wings.

  2. In a bowl, toss ¼ cup of cornstarch and the All Vegetarian Drumsticks together until fully coated.

  3. In a medium bowl, whisk together ½ cup of cornstarch, flour, paprika, garlic powder, baking powder, salt, and pepper. Whisk until smooth.

  4. Heat the oil to 350°F

  5. Coat All Vegetarian Drumsticks in the batter. Add the drumsticks to the oil in batches, cooking for 5-10 minutes until golden brown. Remove from oil and place on wire rack.

  6. Transfer to a new bowl & slowly add in the buffalo sauce. Toss to coat.

  7. Serve with vegan ranch, blue cheese, celery & carrots.
